Bypassing GSM Roaming Charges

GSM roaming charges are tariffs charged by GSM operators from GSM visitors when they make calls from their GSM phone while outside their country. Within an enterprise, these additional charges significantly increase the cost of telephony expenses.

Hypermedia has designed an advanced PBX Callback solution for bypassing the roaming charges and minimizing call costs.

The basic idea behind this Callback Solution is changing the call direction from an overseas call to a local GSM call. The caller signals the system at the home country to call him back, and as a result, the company will pay only for a local GSM phone call plus incoming call charges as opposed to much more expensive direct international call, saving up to 80% of the original direct call.
